The students of At the School of OpenCohesion meet the EU Commissioner Elisa Ferreira

On Monday 12 October in Brussels, students from Italy and other European countries involved in the At the School of OpenCohesion project had the opportunity to interview the European Commissioner for Cohesion Policies and Reforms, Mrs. Elisa Ferreira.
The event took place as part of the eighteenth Europen Week of Regions and Cities, launched on 5th October, and saw at the center of the discussion the following topics: ability to strengthen citizens' participation, the role of cohesion and cooperation, strategy for a greener Europe.

The meeting was attended by some delegations representing the winning teams of the pilot project "At the School of OpenCohesion", each made up of 2 students and a teacher. From Bulgaria the "School Binoculars" team (Училищен бинокъл) from Silistra (Силистра), from Greece the "Karla Lakers" team from Larissa, Thessaly.

Instead, the representatives of the other winning teams of the Partners' Countries participated virtually from a distance:

- Greece - Ionian Islands: "The H2O Explorers" from Argostoli (Celafonia);
- Greece - Peloponeso: "Mare nostrum vita nostra" from Neàpoli;
- Croatia: "Edu-Akcija" from Zadar;
- Spain (Catalonia): Ecolliures from Mataró.

The delegations of the schools "Einaudi-Pareto" of Palermo and "G. M. Galanti" of Campobasso were also connected from Italy, selected on the basis of their long-term participation in the editions of ASOC Italia.
