On OpenCoesione portal are published the data updated at 31st October 2020 related to the implementation of cohesion policy operations referring to the 2007-2013 and 2014-2020 programming periods. The total public amount of the operations visible on the portal is 181,3 billion of Euro. The total amount of the payments disbursed is 90,3 billion of Euro.

As of 31st October 2020 there are 1.624.783 projects available in the National Monitoring System and thus published on OpenCoesione, which makes around 7,5 thousand more in comparison to the previous bimester. 

As far as the investment sectors, cohesion policy funds are mainly allocated - for about 56% - on three different themes, respectively transport (30%), research & innovation (14%) and environment (12%). These facts & figures change slightly in observation of the programming period 2014-2020 solely, where the total percentage is up to 57% while as well the transport sector increases its overall share up to 31%.

In addition, in total n. 300 Plans and Programmes are being monitored, some of which available for the very first time on OpenCoesione portal (existing programmes that were not monitored up to now), representing the ongoing projects and all relating specifically to the programming period 2014-2020.

More in detail these concern as follows: 

  • OPERATION PLAN FOR LAMPEDUSA ISLAND (FSC programming period 2014-2020) containing 9 projects for a total amount of 9,92 million of Euro;

  • COMPLEMENTARY OPERATIONAL PLAN INFRASTRUCTURES & NETWORKS (POC programming period 2014-2020), containing 2 projects for a total amount of 8,293 million of Euro;

  • INSTITUTIONAL CONTRACT FOR DEVELOPMENT CIS MOLISE (FSC programming period 2014-2020), containing 46 projects for a total amount of  90,24 millions of Euro.
