Europe Day 2020: schools of Italy, paths of Europe

70 years after the Schuman Declaration, the Office of the European Parliament in Italy, the Representation in Italy of the European Commission, the Department for European Policies and the Department for Cohesion Policies of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in collaboration with Skuola.net, organize a Live Chat entitled “Europe Day. Schools of Italy, paths of Europe ".

An opportunity to retrace the milestones from that 9th May 1950, but above all to dialogue with MEPs and learn more about the work in the EU institutions.

The event takes place on Thursday 7th May at 11.00 am, completely online through the Skuola.net digital platform. Hundreds of students from all over Italy will participate, connected in streaming: in fact, students from Italian secondary schools involved in their respective European training courses will take part in the Live Chat, including the 42 "European Parliament Ambassador" School - EPAS”,“ Europe = Us” and “At the School of OpenCohesion”.

The videoconference sees among the protagonists the Italian deputies of the European Parliament together with representatives of the European institutions who answer students' questions.

Special guest actor Stefano Fresi, to moderate the event is Metis Di Meo, journalist and Rai presenter.
