ASOC2122 AWARDS: the event live from M9 and the winners of the 2021-2022 edition

The "ASOC2122 AWARDS!" event took place on Monday 6 June, as the final meeting of the At the School of OpenCohesion educational path. The event was held live from the Auditorium Cesare De Michelis of the Museum of the 20th century M9 in Mestre (VE). Four finalist teams from Aversa, Caserta, Castellammare di Stabia and Polistena presented in video-connection while around 300 users were following in live streaming.

The day was full of content: the stories of the protagonists and the projects monitored in their territories, as well as a quiz game in which the 4 finalist classes selected on the over 200 teams that took part in the 2021/2022 edition of At the School of OpenCohesion have replied  the questions related to the cohesion policies, European funds and monitoring techniques they’ve learned during the educational path.

 

The first prize of the final ranking was awarded to the Onda Futura Team of ITIS "M.M. Milan "of Polistena (RC) and a guided tour of the institutional premises of the Senate of the Republic in Rome, during which students will be able to learn more about the details of the cognitive survey tool.

In second place is the Cattleya Team of the "Marco Vitruvio Pollione" Institute in Castellammare di Stabia (NA), who will be able to visit the M9 Museum in Mestre and explore its virtual exhibitions.

In third and fourth place the NetErgy Team of ITI "F. Giordani "of Caserta, who will have the opportunity to participate respectively in an editorial meeting of ANSA and ANSA Europe, and the Geometheus Team of the" E. Fermi "of Aversa who will be able to experiment with the online applied robotics laboratory promoted by the G. Agnelli Foundation of Turin.

 

During the ASOC2122 AWARDS was also announced the Europe Award, awarded to the most committed team among those who carried out the ASOC educational path in English language. The award consists of an educational trip to Brussels in contact with European institutions and was granted to the Back to the Bike team of the Francesco Vivona high school in Rome. The announcement of the Europe award, offered by the Representation of the European Commission in Italy, was assigned by the Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion Mara Carfagna, who intervened in a video message defining herself to be "proud of the commitment" of the classes: "You have been the active sentinels of your territory", "but above all you have expressed the desire to redeem lands in which it can be very difficult to grow," said the Minister.

During the ASOC2122 AWARDS, the prizes offered by the regional partners and the experiences made available for the territorial networks that supported the 4 finalist teams and the one that won the Europe Award were also announced. Also the Special Mentions assigned by the Evaluation Commission of the ASOC2122 were introduced, as well as the first regional winners officially announced on the occasion of Europe Day last 9 May 2022.
