Corsa Rosa della Coesione, Stage 17: Commezzadura Val di Sole – Anterselva/Antholz

We’ve reached stage 17 of the Giro d’Italia and our Corsa Rosa della Coesione continues. Today, in Commezzadura, in the province of Trento, we have selected six projects financed during the 2007-2013 programming cycle using funding from the European Social Fund (Trento ESF PA ROP) to promote active employment policies.

The six projects, which were launched and completed from 2008 to 2013 and had a total public cost of €145,000, financed measures to promote employment through contributions to specific categories of people in order to perform work of social utility, in this case mainly the reorganisation of administrative archives and activities to beautify urban and rural areas.

For the stage finish in Rasun-Anterselva, in Val Pusteria, we have a project for Corsa Rosa della Coesione that concerns an issue of great commitment within the 2014-2020 programming cycle: the development of a fibre-optic network from the town centre to the industrial areas.

Financed with European funding (Bolzano ERDF PA ROP) and still under way, the project seeks to enhance broadband access (of at least 100 Mbps) to businesses, thereby enacting the goal of reducing the digital divide as set within the scope of Europe’s digital agenda.

See you tomorrow in Valdaora!
