OpenCoesione all’incontro europeo sul monitoraggio della S3

OpenCoesione has been participating in the sixth meeting of the working group for the monitoring and assessment of the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) in lagging regions, organised the 23th of October by the European Commission’s Smart Specialisation Platform in Madrid, Spain.

The theme of the meeting, which wraps up a series of S3 seminars, will focus on the use of data to monitor and assess the results of the European Union’s strategic decisions concerning development, research and innovation, including to adequately orient the upcoming programming period.

Within this framework, the OpenCoesione project is considered a European best practice for the availability and use of open data on projects financed by cohesion policy and has a particular impact on the relationship between data users and data producers. Data users also include those who evaluate public policies that, by making use of administrative monitoring data, can trigger research into policy results and their impact.
