For Italy’s National Day of the Seas on 11 April to promote marine awareness and a culture of protecting the sea, OpenCoesione is highlighting a number of projects funded by cohesion policy that take a somewhat different look at the sea.
Data Card - Italy’s National Day of Commemoration and Commitment for the innocent victims of organised crime
The first day of spring, 21 March, is also the date on which to celebrate Italy’s National Day of Commemoration and Commitment for the innocent victims of organised crime, which has been promoted, since 1996, by Libera in collaboration with numerous non-profit organisations and has since been officially recognised by way of Italian Law no. 20/2017.
Brief no. 40 -Transparency in the implementation of European cohesion policies: results of the studies via the online
For Open Government Week, OpenCoesione has published new data from the Survey of the transparency of European Structural Funds. The study, based on a survey of websites and website portals, explored the various approaches to publishing lists of beneficiaries and of operations financed throughout Europe with the help of European Structural Funds and related national co-financing.
Museum Week, an initiative of Italy’s Ministry of Culture featuring free access to all museums and public sites in Italy, is being held this 5-10 March.
OpenCoesione will be helping to promote this initiative with a data card on the projects concerning museums that have been financed within the scope of cohesion policies.
In conjunction with the UN-designated International Holocaust Memorial Day, OpenCoesione will be focusing on three memorial sites in Italy with the support of cohesion policies through projects dedicated to promoting Jewish traditions, culture, and religion by redeveloping and setting up infrastructures co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the 2007-2013 programming cycle within the scope of three Regional Operational Programmes (ROPs).
