Data update as at 28th February 2022

The OpenCoesione portal published the data updated on 28th February 2022 referring to the 2007-2013 and 2014-2020 programming periods and related to the implementation of 1.777.543 operations financed by the cohesion policy (over 34 thousand more in comparison with the last data release dated 31st December 2021).

The total public amount of the operations visible on the portal is 203,5  billion Euro, composed of 109,5 billion euros relating to the 2014-2020 programming period, and 94,3 billion euros relating to the 2007-2013 programming period projects.

In relation to the payments the total amount disbursed is 105,8 billion Euro, out of which 39,4  billion euro for the 2014-2020 programming period and 66,4 billion euro.for the 2007-2013 programming period.

Besides the public cost, on the OpenCoesione portal are being identified and displayed the "cohesion resources" data, representing the funds coming from the European budget (Structural Funds) and from the national budget (national co-financing quote of the EU funds, Cohesion and Development Fund and resources of the Cohesion Action Plan).

Out of a total public cost above indicated, the "cohesion resources" amount to 173,5 billion: the difference is given by the so-called "attracted resources" represented by other public funding allocated from ordinary resources of the State or local authorities that partially cover the investment and to which cohesion policy investments act as a driving force.

Plans and Programmes currently monitored are 308. For the first time, a new Programme relating to the 2014-2020 programming period has been included in the monitoring (in the last two month period of observation). It is about POC ENERGIA E SVILUPPO DEI TERRITORI (POC - Complementary Operational Programme Energy and Territorial Development), with 13 monitored projects for a total public cost of 10,9 million of euro.
