Updated the list of synthetic themes of OpenCoesione

31/05/2022

The list of synthetic themes has been updated on OpenCoesione, representing the classification (and query) areas of the projects monitored on the portal: the definition of the synthetic themes represents an aggregation of priority themes and EU intervention fields (those associated with individual co-financed projects) and sectoral classifications of the CUP System.

This intervention, the first of its kind since the first publishing of the portal in 2012, leads to a reduction in the total number of synthetic themes, which from 13 become 11 starting from the release of the updated data as of 28th February 2022.

The 11 new synthetic themes are the result of an update of the association algorithms of the individual projects also in sight of the new programming period 2021-2027 and are shown in the following table for comparison with the previous classification. The new names are intended to better represent the evolution of cohesion policy over the years.
