Data update at 31st August 2022

With the publication of a new bimonthly update, on the OpenCoesione portal it is possible to read the data relating to the implementation of cohesion policy projects as at 31 August 2022. The interventions displayed are 1,811,769 (over 7 thousand more than the release of the data to 30th June 2022).

The total public cost of the projects monitored is now equal to 216.5 billion euros (of which cohesion resources for 179.9 million euros) while as regards the progress of payments, the total is equal to 111.2 billion euros euro (of which 101.1 billion euro of cohesion resources).

With this release of data, for the first time a programme relating to the 2021-2027 programming period is published and has entered monitoring together with plans and programs relating to the two periods 2014-2020 and 2007-2013. In particular, this concerns the CIS SISMA AREAS programme, financed by the Development and Cohesion Fund: the published projects, all located in the area of ​​the crater in Central Italy affected by the earthquakes of 2016 and 2017, are 41, for a public cost of 110.1 million euros.

The launch of the new programming period goes hand in hand with the final phase of the 2014-2020 implementation, which as at 31st August 2022 registered just over 857,000 projects monitored on the OC portal, for a total value of approximately 121.6 billion euros and payments for 44 billion euros.
