Focus updated with data at 31st August 2021

In the Open Data section of the OpenCoesione portal have been published the updated versions with data at 31st August 2021 of the focuses dedicated to cohesion policy projects concerning the following topics: Tourist attraction, Confiscated assets, Land Reclamation, Culture, Hydrogeological instability, Integrated water system, Early childhood services, Innovation, research and human capital, Urban waste management. Focus Covid-19 is a novelty in this last data release.

In relation to single focuses, hereinafter find the data summary:

- Tourist attraction: 29,609 projects, for a total public cost of 15.83 billion euros (out of which 14.48 billion euros of cohesion resources). Compared to the data at 30th April, more than 2 thousand projects entered this focus. 

- Confiscated assets: 565 projects, for a total public cost of 332.68 million euros (out of which 334.43 million euros of cohesion resources). 

- Land Reclamation: 1,834 projects, for a total public cost of 2.45 billion euros (out of which 2.2 billion euros of cohesion resources). Compared to the data at 30th April, 600 new projects entered this focus. 

- Covid-19: 60,871 projects for a total public cost of 7.11 billion (out of which 7 billion euros of cohesion resources)

- Culture: 12,025 projects, for a total public cost of 8.06 billion (out of which 7.31 billion euros of cohesion resources).

- Hydrogeological instability: 8,002 projects, for a total public cost of 8.68 billion (out of which 7.9 billion of cohesion resources). Compared to the data at 30th April, almost 400 new projects entered this focus. 

- Integrated water system: 3,459 projects, for a total public cost of 7.58 billion euros (out of which 6.51 billion euros of cohesion resources). 

- Services for early childhood: 15,017 projects, for a total public cost of 1.14 billion euros (out of which 1.07 billion euros of cohesion resources). Compared to the data of April 30th, almost 900 new projects entered this focus.  

- Research, innovation and human capital: 49,347 projects, for a total public cost of 18.12 billion euros (out of which 16.54 billion euros cohesion resources). Compared to the data of 30th April, almost 700 new projects entered this focus. 

- Urban waste management: 2,325 projects, for a total public cost of 2.43 billion (out of which 2.21 billion of cohesion resources). Compared to the data of April 30th, more than 100 new projects entered this focus. 

The focuses of OpenCoesione provide users with the datasets created (csv files and metadata) starting from in-depth analysis on the ongoing projects, referring to specific sector policies financed with cohesion funds starting from 2007 up to today.
